Zachary Thomas Dean

Zachary Thomas Dean, 27, passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2023, at his home in Georgia. Zac was born in Alpena, MI on October 21, 1995, to Russell Dean and Jessica (Chabot) Pavley. Zac loved everyone and judged no one. He had a heart that matched his stature, and a laugh that would light up a room. Zac played football and baseball throughout his youth, he loved nature, concerts and playing disc golf. Zac will be sorely missed by his family and friends and his faithful furry companion, Wachuma the cat. Zachary leaves behind his father Russell Dean and Jenilee of Tawas, his mother and stepfather, Jessica (Ron) Pavley, his sister Sydney (Austin) Walker, nephews Grady Walker. Holland Pavley, abd Henry Pavley, his stepsiblings Gage Manning, Brock Schnebelen, Jonathan Pavley, Brandon (Savannah) Pavley, and Rosalee, Elsie and Sadie Jacques. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Marvin and Roxann Dean of Barton City, and Thomas and Linda Chabot of Lachine. Zac was loved deeply by co-parent Brenda Manning, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Visitation will be Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the memorial service at 2:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln. Family and friends are encouraged to write and share fond memories at his memorial. A luncheon will follow at the Barton City VFW Hall. Memorial donations may be made in care of Jessica Pavley.
