William J. Inman

William J. Inman, 67, of Glennie, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Lakeview Manor in Tawas City.

Born October 9, 1956, to Duane and Shirley (Joseph) Inman in Tawas City, MI, he was raised in Glennie and Flint.  In 1989 he returned to Glennie.  Bill was very musical, he loved The Beatles and playing the violin.  He was artistic, and enjoyed drawing and sketching.  He will be greatly missed.  

Bill is survived by his mother, Shirley Inman-Wirgau, two sisters, Theressa Schlink and Pam Dowis, and one brother, Rodney Inman, four nephews, four great nephews, and one great niece, as well as many great great nieces and nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Inman, his stepfather, Jake Burr, and his stepfather, Gerald Wirgau, as well as his faithful canine companion Pug.

Bill is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Visitation will continue on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM.  Dr. Rev. Arie VanBrenk will officiate.  Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery, Barton City.
