William "Buck" G. Rifenbark

William G. “Buck” Rifenbark Jr., 74, of Barton City, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at his home. Born July 11, 1946 to William G. and Mae (Paulsrud) Rifenbark Sr. in Harrisville, MI, he was raised in Pinconning, MI. Buck worked as a supervisor at General Motors in Defiance, OH, and retried to Barton City in 2015. He was a member of the Barton City Eagles Aerie 4141, and of the VFW Post 8135 in Barton City. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as camping and riding the trails on his buggy. He liked shooting pool and playing horseshoes. He was a talented woodworker, spending many hours in his woodshop. Buck is survived by his son Timothy (Samantha) Rifenbark of Pinconning, his daughter in law, Kathy Rifenbark, three grandchildren, Ryan and Billy Rifenbark and Shay Rifenbark, four step-grandchildren, Devin and Justin Vansumeren, Jonathan Urbaniak and Chloe Hauk, four sisters, Karen Mogg, Janet Ross, Tish Norton, and Debbie Rifenbark, one brother, Dennis Rifenbark as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosie (Lawrence) Rifenbark and his son William Thomas Rifenbark. Mr. Rifenbark is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln where friends may call on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 12:00 until the funeral service at 4:00 PM.
