Vincent N. Griffin

Vincent N. Griffin, 86, of Glennie, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Saginaw.

Born May 8, 1939, to Carl and Anna Griffin in Petoskey, MI, he was raised there. He graduated from Petoskey High School in 1957 and attended Central Michigan University. On July 31, 1963, he married Elsa Gustafson. They were happily married for 60 years. Vince was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Local 324 for 60 years as a crane operator. He helped to build all the major freeways around the Metro Detroit area. Elsa and Vince moved to Glennie in 2002.

Vince is survived by his son, Scott Griffin, several cousins and nieces and nephews who called him DAAAD or Uncle Bince. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsa in 2024, and his son, Andrew C. Griffin in 2019.

Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Private services have been held.
