Thomas D. Goodemoot

Thomas D. Goodemoot, 36, of Mikado, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alpena.

Born September 26, 1989 to Kenneth D. and Cindy (Smith) Goodemoot in Carson City, MI, he was raised in Stanton, and Tennessee, returning to Michigan and graduating from Alcona High School. He worked as a blacksmith and farrier.

He is survived by two sons, Kenneth B. Goodemoot and Atticus D. Goodemoot, his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Shelby Gohl, his mother, Cindy Smith, his sister, Sheryl (Kenneth Rudolph) Goodemoot, and his brother, Kyle Goodemoot. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth D. Goodemoot in 2014.

Thomas is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
