Stanley Lee

Stanley Earl Lee, 80, of Mikado, Michigan went to be with his Savior on August 28, 2026. He was under Hospice care and was surrounded by his family. Stan was born on Dec 9, 1945 in Harrisville, MI to Fred and Helma Lee of Mikado, MI. He graduated from Oscoda Area High School in 1964. He then enlisted with the United States Air Forces where he served in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He came home and married his high school sweetheart, Constance Aspey of Lincoln, MI in 1967. He would go onto graduate from Toledo Bible College in 1973 with his Bachelor in Religious Education degree. He would pastor at several churches. He returned with his family in 1986 to take over the family farm. He worked at Oscoda Area Schools as a bus driver for many years and would later go on janitorial staff. Stan’s greatest love was serving his Savior. He loved spending time with his wife and girls. As his girls grew and moved away, when they were home he would insist on everyone getting together around the table for meals. He also enjoyed singing hymns and gospel music. He would listen to all the Detroit Tiger games on the radio as well. He loved to travel but only if itmeant he was able to visit family and friends. He and his wife would visit Alaska, Argentina, Arizona, Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio and many other places. Stan is survived by his wife of 58 years Connie Lee. His daughters Clarinda (Jon) Halk of Zambia, Africa and Ruthann (Rolando) Delgadillo of Metán, Argentina. His grandchildren Jonathan, Levi, Josué, Daniel, Sara, and Christopher. His sister Diana (Lynn) Boger. His sisters- in-law Nancy Timm, Cyndi (Tom) Knight, and Linda (Larry) Somers and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents Fred and Helma Lee. His brothers-in-law Eldon Timm, Larry Apsey; sister-in-law Lynn Apsey, and nephew Kevin Timm. The family would like to thank Hospice of Michigan for the care that they gave to Stan during his finally days. Also for the way they made sure that his daughters knew when to come home. A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church of Mikado MI, on September 11th at 11:00 am. Visitation prior to the service will start at 10 am. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to Hospice of Michigan or to Calvary Baptist Church.
