Rose Anne Armstrong

Rose Anne Armstrong, 81, of Lincoln, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Alpena. Born July 18, 1940 to Floyd and Leona (Slater) Yuill in Lincoln, she has been a resident of the area most of her life. In 1993, she married Arnold Armstrong. Rose was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lincoln. She loved music. She was a member of several choral groups and enjoyed singing at the local nursing homes. A talented artist, Rose enjoyed drawing and sketching. Rose is survived by her son, Brenton (Mizue) Miks of Castle Rock, Colorado, three stepdaughters, Nancy Stoops, Rita Hartwig, and Laura Thomas, nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold on August 16, 2021, and her daughter, Juleen Wesholski in 2006. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
