Richard "Dick" G. Bacon Sr.

Richard G. “Dick” Bacon Sr., 83, of Oscoda, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025.

Dick was born December 4, 1941, to Armand and Lorrain (Jenson) Bacon in Reading, MI. Dick worked as a heavy diesel mechanic. A talented artist, he enjoyed oil painting and photography. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and bow hunting.

Dick is survived by his children, Tammy (Robert) McGrath, Richard Bacon Jr., Kelly George, and Christopher Bacon, two sisters, Suzann (Eugene) Smith, Barbara Carpenter, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen (Wilkson) Bacon, his twin brother, Robert Bacon, his granddaughter, Jamie McGrath, his great grandson, Cole Bacon, and his daughter-in-law, Donna Jones.

Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
