Ray Paul Daggett, 77, of Lincoln, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at his home.

Born December 26, 1948, to William and Virginia (Sharboneau) Daggett in Lincoln, he was a lifelong resident of the area. On August 30, 1969, he married Diane Somers in Lincoln. Ray worked as a mason for Comstock Construction for many years. He worked for the Alcona Road Commission for 10 years, retiring in 2013. Ray was a member of the Barton City Eagles Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was always up for a trip to the casino. Most of all, Ray loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Ray is survived by his wife, Diane, his daughter, Michelle (Tony) Krisan, his son, Bradley (Brittney) Daggett, seven grandchildren, Anthony (Alyssa) Krisan II, Mitchell (Kayla) Krisan, Matthew (Billie) Krisan, Maddison (Isiah) Nelkie, Tiffany Raley, Jayden Raley, and Alivia Raley, two great grandsons, William Krisan, and Jaylen Krisan, two sisters, Joyce Mclaughlin, and Juanita (Tom) White, his brother-in-law, Dennis (Kathy) Somers, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister-in-law, Sonja (RB) Clark.

Ray is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where visitation will be Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorial donations are suggested to the Lincoln Fire Auxiliary.
