Randall Bigford

Randall D. Bigford, 71, of Spruce, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer.

Born September 6, 1954, to Lloyd and Viola (Wingeier) Bigford in Bay City, MI, he was raised there. He graduated from T.L. Handy High School. On April 25, 1975, he married Vicki Trudell in Auburn, MI. In 1987, they moved to Spruce. Randy worked for the Lafarge Corporation for 28 years. He was a member of the Alpena Bass Club, the Sanford Bass Club, the Alpena Sportsman’s Club where he enjoyed skeet shooting, the Lafarge Hunting Club, and the Spruce Presbyterian Church. He was an avid bass fisherman, and enjoyed ice fishing, hunting, camping, mushroom hunting, and snowmobiling. He loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Randy is survived by his wife, Vicki, his daughter, Tracy (Stephen) Wisniewski, three grandchildren, Kayden, Marah, and Reese Wisniewski, two sisters, Sandra Joles and Tammy Micho, three brothers, Lloyd, Scott, and Guy Bigford, six nieces and nephews, and his best friend, Phil (Julie) Myers. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a memorial service Monday, July 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Spruce Presbyterian Church. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
