Paul M. Deller

Paul Michael Deller, 76, of Harrisville, passed away peacefully at home on October 2nd, 2025. He was born on February 6, 1949, to Elmer and Susie Deller (Crevier).

An Army veteran, Paul served his country during the Vietnam War. Over the years he worked in several labor-intensive fields, with his working career concluding with Kalitta Air in ground maintenance.

Paul was known for being a hard working family man whose door was always open. To friends and family alike, his home was a safe haven. There was always a pot of coffee ready, or a beer cold, or a meal to share. Paul was everyone’s rock- their shoulder to cry on, the person to vent to, and the one who never judged. He was always ready with a quick witted joke or some sound advice to take away the sting of the world.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tending his yard, and filling his property with the sounds of loud classic country or rock music. He shared many a bonfire while reminiscing with those he loved, and delighted in taking a ride in his truck to savor nature. In his younger years, he could often be found in pool halls, earning the reputation as a skilled pool shark; and he loved to dance.

Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sherie A. Deller (Amesse), his sister, Carol Thompson (Deller), and his brother, Connie Deller. He is survived by his brothers, Ronnie Deller, Clifford Deller, Jim Deller; as well as his sisters Janet Thompson (Deller) and Louella Shellenbarger (Deller). He is also survived by his son Michael G. Deller, his son Jonathan J. Deller, his daughter Cora J. Deller, his step-daughter Paula M. Ball, and eleven cherished grandchildren who brought him immense joy and endless laughs.

He will be remembered for his unwavering love for family and friends, his generosity of spirit, and the countless ways he brightened the world around him. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
