Patricia L. Hinze

Patricia L. Hinze, 80, of Mikado, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at her home. Born March 6, 1940 to James and Edith Lee in Mikado, MI, she was raised there. Pat graduated from Oscoda High School in 1958. On March 12, 1960, she married Wilfred Hinze in Mikado. A devoted homemaker, Pat was active in her church with the youth and women’s organizations. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, including overseas travel with her husband. Patricia is survived by her husband, Wilfred, six children, Wilfred (Letricia) Hinze, Renae (James) Turner, Daniel (Terri) Hinze, Paul (Jennifer) Hinze, Andrew (Tara) Hinze, and Joanna (Anthony) Stotts, 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her sister Sandra Lee, and her brother James (Debbie) Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Jaqueline Lee, Sharon Feggestad, and Maxine Troupe. Mrs. Hinze is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Sunday, June 21 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Burial will be in Mikado Cemetery.
