Patricia Jean DeSmet

Patricia Jean DeSmet, 77, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Alpena.  She was born May 9, 1941 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  On October 1, 1956, she married Edmund DeSmet in Howell, MI.  They were longtime residents of Howell and moved to Harrisville in 1978.  Pat was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, and of TOPS of Harrisville and Mikado.  She enjoyed gardening, especially working in her flower gardens.  Pat is survived by her husband, Edmund Sr., six children, JoAnne Marie (Michael) Waldoff, Barbara Ann (Richard) Ouillet, William James (Sheri) DeSmet, Edmund Edward (Susan) DeSmet Jr., Patrick Michael DeSmet, and Tracy Stouten, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, three sisters and one brother.  She was preceded in death by her infant son, Edmund Edward DeSmet Jr.  Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.  A memorial mass will be announced in the near future.  To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Patricia Jean DeSmet, please visit our flower store.
