Norman Randy Morse, Sally Maude Morse
Norman and Sally Morse of Atlanta, Michigan, formerly of Lansing, Michigan, have both passed.
Norman was born February 10, 1947, one of five children born to Russell and Dora Morse, in Lansing, Michigan.
Sally was born November 14, 1947, one of seven children born to Duncan and Mary McColman, in Flint, Michigan.
Norman and Sally married November 29, 1975, in Holt, Michigan. Their union, lasting nearly 50 years, brought together their four children, Rhonda Earley (Todd Jaroch) of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, Rachele Blain (Matt) of Lake Orion, Michigan, Robert Trimmer of Lansing, Michigan, and Jennifer Strall (Bill) of Barton City, Michigan. They were then blessed with five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
After graduating from Holt High School in 1965, Norman joined the US Army. Upon returning home he joined the Sheet Metal Workers Local 7, where he worked until retirement. Sally worked at Spartan International in Holt and Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Lansing until her retirement. At that time they left Lansing and moved to Atlanta, Michigan.
In Atlanta, Norman, a man of great knowledge and opinions, and a master tinkerer, enjoyed the solitude of his acreage and workshop. Sally, ever the social butterfly, made friends while keeping busy working at Freddies Grocery and then the Montmorency County Commission on Aging, and frequenting her local coffee shop.
Norman passed April 9, 2025, of heart failure at their home in Atlanta, Michigan. Sally passed January 27, 2026 of Alzheimer’s complications at the home of her daughter in Barton City, Michigan.
Norman and Sally have chosen cremation and will be interred together at a later date in Atlanta, Michigan. There will be no services.
The family wishes to thank Nurse Tonia with Hospice of Michigan for her amazing care, and Evelyn White and Marva LaMer, Sallys best friends, who have given so much support to all of us during this time. If you would like to do something to honor the memory of Norman and Sally, please volunteer at, or donate to, your local animal shelter.
