Mike K. Anderson

Michael K. Anderson, 59, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at his home after a ten year battle with cancer.

Born September 29, 1964, to Sam and Betty (Bowers) Anderson in Alpena, MI, he was a lifelong resident of the area.  Mike was a handyman who enjoyed hard work.  He was the assistant greenskeeper at Lost Lake Woods Club and operated his own tree service business.  Mike loved his motorcycle and spending time with his family.  He took pride in everything he did, and was always willing to lend a hand to someone who needed help.

Mike is survived by his fiancé, Kerry Gonyea, her daughters, Kara Gonyea and Myra Armstrong, one sister, Cindy McAlpine, and two brothers, Kerry and Tim Anderson.

Mike is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where visitation will be on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 12:00 until the service at 2:00 PM.
