Mary L. Soper

Mary L. Soper, 90, of Twinsburg, Ohio, formerly of Mikado, MI, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at Sprenger Health Care Grande Village. 

Born February 22, 1933, to Ernest and Margie (Millliron) Lyle in Monroe, MI, she was raised there.  On June 27, 1958, she married Frank Soper in Melvindale, MI.  They moved to Mikado in 1970.  Mary worked as an administrative clerk in the commissary at Wurtsmith Air Force Base.  She enjoyed going for walks and knitting. 

Mary is survived by her daughter, Sally Soper of Posen, her sister, Ruthie Palmer, her brother, Bill Lyle, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank on February 10, 2009, and her brother Don Lyle. 

 Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the memorial service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.  Interment will follow in the Mikado Cemetery.
