Maria "Mary" S. McCulloch

Maria “Mary” S. McCulloch, 94, of Palm City, FL, formerly of Alpena and Lincoln, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart Florida.     Born April 23, 1925, to Bonaventura Frank and Rosalia (Gurcio) Maviglia, in Redford, she was raised there.  On December 30, 1943, she married Wesley McCulloch in Detroit, and they were longtime residents of Farmington.  In 1962 they moved to Lincoln. Mary was a devoted homemaker, who loved taking care of her large family. She enjoyed painting ceramics, gardening, canning, and traveling.  She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville. In 2012, they moved to Alpena. Wesley preceded her in death on February 22, 2013. Mary moved to Arizona for a short while before moving to Florida.     Mary is survived by five children, Garry (Stephanie) McCulloch, Bonnie (Ray) Maciak, Marlene McCulloch, Robin (Dale) Salisbury, and Candy McCulloch, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two sisters, June Tyrell and Theresa DeMay, as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Linda McCulloch, and nine brothers and sisters.     Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.  Rev. Robert Bissot will officiate.
