Lyle C. Selman

Lyle Cosand Selman, 96, of Harrisville, died Saturday, December 4, 2021 at home. Born April 9, 1925, to Lloyd and Lela (Cosand) Selman in Rose City, he was raised in the Lupton and Mio areas. Lyle served in the U.S. Army. On May 22, 1943 he married Eleen “Peggy” Joy in Toledo, Ohio. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado. Lyle is survived by three daughters, Carol (Dean) Place of Glendale, AZ, Mari Lou (Robert) Fitzgerald on Newport Beach, CA, and Dawn (John) Ashford of Harrisville, MI, eight grandchildren, Tim (Erica) Wauchek, Erin Ashford, Matthew (Roberta) Ashford, Michael (Shannon) Ashford, Larry (Susan) Fitzgerald, Karen Fitzgerald, Barb Fitzgerald, and Robert (Lisa) Fitzgerald, nine great grandchildren, Mckinley Wauchek, Danica Wauchek, Matheus Ashford, Emilia Ashford, Paul Ashford, Sadie Ashford, Sean Fitzgerald, Patrick Fitzgerald, and Ava Fitzgerald, and one great great granddaughter, Emma Fitzgerald. Visitation will be Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 2:00 until the funeral service at 3:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado. Rev. Tim Steiner will officiate.
