Loretta M Niesen

Loretta May Niesen of Barton City, Michigan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her four daughters.

She enjoyed reading, especially American history and the Civil War era, as well as traveling and spending time in nature. She also loved sewing, knitting, and quilting.

Loretta worked as a switchboard operator and receptionist, and later as a docent at Greenfield Village.

She is survived by her four daughters and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

She will be remembered for her quiet, steady way of life.
