Linda Thomas

Linda A. Thomas, 79, of Barton City, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026 at her home.

Born February 7, 1947, to Lester and Ina (Mauer) Quinn in Brown City, MI, she was raised in Marlette. In 1965, she married Bruce Thomas in Pontiac, where they were longtime residents. Linda worked as a carrier for the United States Postal Service for 33 years. In 1987, she retired to Lakes in the Green in Barton City. Linda was a member of Eagles Clubs in Pontiac and Barton City, and of the VFW. She enjoyed fishing, especially in the big lake.

Linda is survived by her husband, Bruce, two children, John R. Thomas, and Molly A. Greer, two grandchildren, Olivia Smith, and E.J. Holmes, three siblings, Ed Quinn, Janice Kennedy, and Pat Quinn, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, Rosella Travis, and Patsy Cornell.

Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
