Linda Dean

Linda Dean, 63, of Barton City, lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, February 08, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Livonia.   Born August 28, 1956 to Joanne (Rindle) Kohler in Harrisville, Linda was a lifelong resident of the area. Linda was a talented florist and owned and operated Kohler’s Flowers, where she had worked since she was a teenager. On August 26, 2019, she married Oscar Buckner. Linda enjoyed gardening, painting and drawing. She liked spending time outdoors, and listening to music, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.   Linda is survived by her husband, Oscar, two daughters, Marcy (Bryan) of Garden City, MI, and Mandy (Ron) of Livonia, six grandchildren, Tyler, Jenna, Patch, Devin, Brooklyn, and Willow, two sisters, Alice Kohler and Deanna Goeman, four brothers, George, Ronald, David, and Robert Kohler, as well as numerous other close family members. She was preceded in death by her mother in 2013, two sisters, Sarah Casey, and Susan Kohler, and one brother, William Kohler.   Linda is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 5:00 PM.
