Kevin "Tom" Maxwell

Kevin “Tom” Maxwell, 67, of Lincoln, formerly of Flint, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023.

Born June 12, 1956 to Meredith L. and Esther R. (Farlow) Maxwell in Flint, he was raised there.  He married Carol Sawade in 1973 in Flint.  He served in the US Army, and was a proud military veteran.  Tom worked as an engineer technician with General Motors Proving Grounds, where he was known for his leadership skills and vast knowledge.  He retired after 30 years.  Tom worked hard to take care of his family, they were his number one priority.  He was a one of a kind man, who loved holidays, especially the Fourth of July.  He enjoyed hunting, classic cars, and most of all, his family.  

Tom is survived by his wife, Carol, three children, Kevin (Michele) Maxwell, Christi (Josh) Natzke, and Megan (Jeff) Maxwell, six grandchildren, Nicole, Trent, Haley, Ethan, Helena, and Kayde, his mother, Esther Blondin, and his brother, Michael Maxwell.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Tom is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
