Kathleen Lawver

Kathleen Lawver, 84, of Spruce, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 at her home. Born August 27, 1934 to James and Pauline (Mattingly) Shanahan in Inkster, MI, she was raised there. She was a longtime resident of Dearborn, and worked as a OB/GYN Registered Nurse. She retired to Spruce in the early 1970s. Kathy loved Hubbard Lake, especially fishing. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and taking care of her dogs. Kathy is survived by her son, Steve Lawver of Spruce, two granddaughters, Chrissy Lundgen and Megan Lawver, and her cousin, Walter Peters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Lawver in 2004, and by her brother. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
