Joseph LaVigne

Joseph D. LaVigne, 64, of Harrisville, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, at his home.

Born September 12, 1961, to Leo and Mona Fae (Fulsher) LaVigne he was raised in Taylor, MI. On February 24,1990, he married Katherine Evans in Harrisville. Joe worked in an automotive factory for over 20 years and retired in 2018. Joe and Kathy owned and operated the LaVigne Family Blueberry Farm in Harrisville. He enjoyed reading, gardening, and traveling.

Joe is survived by his wife, Kathy, two sons, Joseph (Hetali Lodaya) LaVigne of Chapel Hill, NC, and Gregory (Kara Niemetta) LaVigne of Ann Arbor, MI, two grandchildren, Sanjana and Suraj LaVigne, his mother Mona Fae Rozanek, two sisters, Teri Hamm of Oscoda, and Ann Glore of Mikado, and two brothers-in-law, Greg Evans (Brenda Godfrey) of Oscoda, and Phil Evans of Oscoda. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo LaVigne.

Funeral arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
