Joseph Dupuis

Joe Dupius, 64, of Harrisville, passed away suddenly, Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Born March 22, 1962, to Ken and Ruth (Tyra) Dupuis in Pontiac, MI, he was raised in Auburn Hills before moving to Harrisville. He was employed by Kalitta Air, and his weekends were filled with racing. He had a passion for Top Fuel Dragsters, and was a member of the National Hot Rod Association.

Joe is survived by his children, Michael Dupuis and Sydney Dupuis, his mother, Ruth Dupuis, his sister, Andrea Dupuis, his brother, Tom Dupuis, three aunts, Betty Tyra, Tyra Dupuis, and Phyllis LaFrance, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Dupuis, his sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Rodney Galbraith, his partner, Deb Williams, and his daughter, Kristina Dupuis.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 12:00 PM until the memorial service at 2:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln. Memorial donations are suggested to Friends Together, Alpena.
