John "Rich" Kaiser

John Richard (Rich) Kaiser passed peacefully on April 22, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 17, 1937, to John and Marybelle (Busha) Kaiser, in Port Huron, where they lived several years before moving to Glennie, Mi. He graduated from Oscoda Area Schools in 1955. He worked at Featherlite, in Tawas Mi, and then for Oscoda Area Schools, until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Elton Edward, and Ron, and Granddaughter Marlana Marie Kaiser.

He is survived by his wife Marie of 67 years; his children, Kaye Kaiser, Rick Kaiser (Carrie), and Mike Kaiser, and families, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren, also several nephews, nieces, cousins, and family friends. His hobbies included, Hunting, Fishing, Camping with Friends and Family, Woodcutting, Motorcycle Riding, and Playing Cards with Friends and Family.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated, to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Glennie, Mi.

Funeral Services will be held May 9th, 11 am, 2026 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, in Glennie, MI. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
