John M. Lutze

John M. Lutze, 59, of Harrisville, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Alpena. Born January 31, 1962 to Basil and Coranna (Regan) Lutze in Bay City, MI, he was raised in Linwood. John served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant in 2003. In 2007 he moved to Northern Michigan before settling in Harrisville in 2009. John worked as an A/P Mechanic for Kalitta Air Line Maintenance. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching ships pass the harbor. John is survived by his wife, Ok Hui, his daughter, Kendra Lutze, his son-in-law, Kris Neutz, his sister, Mary Salois, and his brother, William Lutze. Visitation will be at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM. Rev. John William will officiate.
