Janice A. LaFave, 77, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 26, 2026 at Jamieson Nursing Home.
Born December 15, 1948 to Howard and Grace (Anderson) Ritchie in Alpena, MI, she was a lifelong resident of the area.
Janice is survived by her two sons, Jim (Tracie) Ritchie and Jeff (Angie) LaFave, her grandchildren, Kevin (Heather) Ritchie, Justin Ritchie, Sage (Dillon) Mrdeza, Krista (Keegan) Payne and Cooper Breier, three great grandchildren, and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine “Sue” Hale, and her brother, Larry Ritchie.
Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
