James E. Kelly

James E. Kelly, 81, of Harrisville, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at his home. Born February 28, 1939 to Clifford and Helen (Cordes) Kelly in Berkley, MI, he was a lifelong resident of Alcona County. On May 5, 1962, he married Faye Walker in Oscoda. Jim managed the Alcona Seed Growers and Lumber Mill in Harrisville. He was a proud member of the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department for over 40 years, and served as a member of his beloved Harrisville Goodfellows for over 30 years. Jim enjoyed woodworking, golfing, bowling, and working in his yard. Jim is survived by his wife, Faye, his son, Jim (Jackie) Kelly of Harrisville, his grandson Walker Kelly of Harrisville, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Private services have been held.
