Hubbard Lake

Jacqueline “Jackie” Annette (Smith) Jolliff was born July 28, 1962, and died February 26, 2024, at the age of 61 in Hubbard Lake, Michigan. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Robert Jolliff II; parents Roger and Helga Smith; sister, Donna Smith-Nelson; brother, Kenny (Lori) Smith; son Robert (Brandie) Jolliff III; daughters, Shawntae Jolliff and Taylor (Caleb) Pillar; grandson Robert Jolliff IV; and granddaughters, Holly and Claire Priano-Jolliff.

Jackie was a proud owner of the Hubbard Lake General Store with her husband, Rob. She loved a getaway. She enjoyed visiting Mackinac Island, where she stayed at her favorite Grand Hotel, trips to the casino, vacations to Tybee Island and Las Vegas, and camping trips during the summer. Jackie was a magnificent cook and was delighted to have friends and family over for dinner get-togethers. She brought out her English hobnail collection when hosting an impressive dinner or a Christmas morning breakfast. She would pick up an English hobnail piece, or two, or three, to add to her collection when antiquing. She had a great appreciation for antiques and history and a passion for discovering her family ancestry, particularly her family’s Native American heritage, where she traced back generation after generation.

Per Jackie’s wishes, no funeral service will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled by family at a later date.
