Helen L. Gaz, 92, of Greenbush, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023. Helen was born February 11, 1931, in Detroit, MI. She grew up in a military family, and her parents Gerald James and Helen (Pray) Thebeau moved several times, settling in Detroit. On February 4, 1950, Helen married Louis Gaz in Detroit. They were residents of Detroit, and later Shelby before retiring to Greenbush in 1976. A devoted homemaker, Helen loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing BINGO. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville. Helen is survived by five children, Helen (Anthony) Przybylinski, Mary (Russell) Yeomans, Denise Gaz, Pamela Schult, and Robert Gaz, 13 grandchildren, Sheila (Scott) Scott, Guy (Amy) Przybylinski, Sonya Roberts, Megan Gaz, Morgan (Dan) Morrow, Rachel (Charley) Obenschain, Jason (Wendy) Wrusch, Alyssa Wrusch, Cheyanne Weidman, and Crista, Brendon, Sara, and Zach Gaz, 16 great grandchildren, Katlyn (Brandon) Franks, Michael Scott, Nathan (Emma) Przybylinski, Emma Przybylinski, Mason Przybylinski, Kiah Holmes, Sophie Otremba, Kalen (Lance) Henge, Tyasia Roberts, Aryanna, Abby Obenschain, Aidan Obenschain, Jayden Wrusch, Hailey Wrusch, Karly Crump, and Riley Buchanan, three great great grandchildren, Luke and Tucker Franks, and Blair Przybylinski, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis, on April 30, 2004, her son, Mark Gaz, two great granddaughters, Ashley Scott, and Madeline Morrow, her sister Geraldine White, and her brother Gerald Thebeau. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 11:00 AM until the funeral mass at 12:00 PM at St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville. Rev. John William will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville.
