Geneva Grace Pelton

Geneva Grace Pelton, 79, of Greenbush, died Sunday, May 12, 2024, at her home.

Born August 7, 1944, to George and Geraldine (Menter) Collins in Wyandotte, MI, she was raised in Mt. Clemens.  She attended St. Mary’s through the 8th grade and moved to Greenbush in 1959.  Geneva graduated from Oscoda High School in 1963.  In 1965, she married Robert Pelton in Wyandotte, and they were residents of Greenbush.  They owned and operated Ki Cuyler's in Harrisville for many years.  Geneva was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville.  She had an impeccable memory when it came to dates, and never missed a birthday or anniversary.  

Geneva is survived by her husband, Robert, her son, Kevin (Colleen) Pelton, three granddaughters, Sharley Pelton, Morgan Clemens, and Claire Clemens, four sisters, three brothers, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Pelton, one sister, and two brothers.

Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.  A memorial will be announced in the near future.
