Florence N. Mishler, 88, of Flint, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at her home. Born January 27, 1933 to Charles and Jenie (Wrzesinska) Tunk in Flint, she was raised and lived in the north end of Flint during her early adult years. Florence was a Polio survivor who especially loved sewing and reading. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Flint where she married Eugene Mishler on June 26, 1954. She retired with her husband to Lost Lake Woods Club (Lincoln) where she enjoyed playing darts and bowling with many new friends and attended St. Raphael's Parish. Florence was also an active member and Secretary in the Alcona County Domestic Engineers for many years and recently relocated to Woodhaven Senior Community in Flint, attending St. Pius X. Proud of her Polish heritage and remembered for her lifetime of thoughtfulness and caring, Florence is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (David) Moreno, two sons: Thomas and Gary Mishler, (5) grandchildren: Kimberly (Joel) Verrecchia, James Clark, Nicholas (Sarah) Mishler, Wesley (Stacy) Mishler and Justin (Courtney) Mishler, (11) great-grandchildren, Luke and Josie Verrecchia, Dominic, Amelia, Charlie, Fiona, Kara, Logan, Delilah, Drew and Haddie Mishler, her elder brother, Steven Tunk, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene on November 16, 2013, daughter-in-law Robin (Harvey), great-grandson Adam Verrecchia and her eldest brother, Chester Tunk.
