Elsa Griffin, 82 of Glennie Michigan, passed away Friday February 2, 2024, at her home. She was born March 19, 1941, to Oluf and Dulcie (Duncan) Gustafson in Petoskey, Michigan. On July 27, 1963, she was united in marriage to Vincent Neal Griffin. Together they shared 60 years of marriage.
She formerly lived for 35 years in the Ferndale Michigan area and was employed by the Ferndale Public Schools as head custodian until retirement. She retired in 2001 and moved to Glennie. Elsa was a member of Lott Baptist Church.
Elsa will be greatly missed by her husband Vince and their son Scott. Their son Andrew preceded her in death 2019. She is survived by two sisters and a brother, several nieces and nephews and a grand pup, Walter.
Elsa is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where visitation will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. until funeral service at 3:00 P.M. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey, Michigan at a later date.
