Elizabeth Mary Richardson

Elizabeth M. Richardson, 50, of Spruce, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at her home.

Born August 20, 1973 to Forrest and Barbara (Rasmussen) Gauthier in Alpena, she has been a lifelong resident of the area.  On June 11, 1994, she married David Richardson in Spruce.  Together they owned and operated Dave’s Auto Repair, where Liz managed the office.  She loved going for walks, was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing puzzles.  She was a very social lady, stopping to visit when she could, and enjoyed singing karaoke.  

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Dave, two sons, Raymond (Amanda) Richardson, and Zachary Richardson, seven siblings, Monroe Gauthier, Solomon (Fran) Gauthier, David (Bonnie) Gauthier, Cheryl (Randy) Laube, Rebecca (Dale) Woloszyk, Randy (Brenda) Gauthier, and Billie (Jeff) Panich, three sisters-in-law, Gale Gauthier, Vickie Gauthier, and Margaret Gauthier, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Keith Michael Richardson, four siblings, Forrest Gauthier, Jody Gauthier, Heidi Riggs, and Brian Gauthier, and her parents.  

Elizabeth is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where visitation will be on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Arie Van Brenk officiating.
