Eileen F. Szarafinski

Eileen F. Szarafinski, 56, of Mikado, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital. Born April 16, 1962 to John and Joyce (Judd) Brown in Flint, MI, she was raised there.  On December 8, 2002, she married Stevie Szarafinski, and they moved to Mikado. Eileen worked as an accountant, and spent years preparing tax returns.  She enjoyed sewing and hand crafts, painting, and drawing. She was a member of the Lincoln United Methodist Church. Eileen is survived by her husband, Stevie, one daughter, Nicole Nance, one son, Nick (Lacey) Nance, three grandchildren, one sister, Susan (Danny) Bulgajewski, one brother, Neil (Kathy) Brown, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, David and Charles Brown. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.  A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
