Deborah J. Keyser, 70, of Harrisville, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at her home. Born November 14, 1952, to Eugene and Mary (Steinacher) Charlick in Highland, MI, she was raised there. She was a long time resident of Bay City, and worked for many years as a bartender at Bay Lanes. She moved to Harrisville in 1986 and worked at the Captain’s Corner. On October 17, 1987, she married David Keyser in Harrisville. They lived in Harrisville, and Deb enjoyed working on the family farm. She loved animals, especially her horses. Deb was a longtime member of Alcoholics Anonymous, and treasured the friendships she made at her Friday and Saturday night meetings. Deb is survived by her husband, Dave, her daughter, Jamie Zielinski, two stepdaughters, Kari McCulloch, and Kristen (Daniel) Biskupski all of Bay City, six grandchildren, Gage Zielinski, Madison (Tyler Davis) Zielinski, Joey Schimpf, Logan McCulloch, Payten (John) Laverty III, and Paige (Kevin) Lobodzinski, five great grandchildren, Saylor Laverty, and Charleigh, Evan, Cora, and Tucker Lobodzinski, two brothers, Brian (Barbara) Charlick, and Jim Rowe, six sisters, Terrie Rudolph, Nancy Rowe, Ellen Craft, Lori (Eric) Clifton, Lana (Larry) Mitchell, and Bethany Rowe, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Mary and Harold Rowe, her father and stepmother, Eugene and Geraldine Charlick, brother, Glenn Charlick, and her sister-in-law, Ann Rowe. A Celebration of Deb’s Life will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the American Legion, 2205 Alger Street, Mikado, MI 48745. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Memorial donations are suggested to Friends Together, 105 Prentiss Street, Alpena, MI 49707.
