Curtis L. VonFintel

Curtis L. VonFintel, 57, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022.

Born February 5, 1964 to Bernard and Sylvia (Tacia) VonFintel in Alpena, MI, he has been a lifelong resident of the area.  Curt enjoyed working on the farm, including milking and working on the tractor.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially four wheeling, snowmobiling, watching the deer, and sitting on the beach.  He was an animal lover, and enjoyed polka dancing.  

Curt is survived by his son, Isaak Von Fintel, his stepson, Daniel Abbenga, his sisters, Marilyn (Denzil) Holmes, Nancy (Tim) Brandt, Sharon VonFintel, Linda (Chris) Pruner, Erna (Chris) LoCoco, and Karen (Chris) Abbenga, his brothers, Kenneth (Sandra) VonFintel and Melvin (Palma) VonFintel, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved canine friend Zeus.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, fro 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM.  Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery in the spring.
