Connie S. Nelson

Connie S. Nelson, 77, of Lincoln, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026 at her home.

Born April 26, 1949 to Everet “Bud” and Barbara Jean (Powell) Antonides in Detroit, MI, she was raised in Shelby Township. On August 4, 1967, she married Robert Nelson in Shelby Township. They were residents of Utica, Sterling Heights, and Capac, before moving to Lincoln in 1997. Connie was a massage therapist, and was well known for her dedication to her clients. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, but especially loved tending to her flowers and her garden. She was a great cook, and enjoyed canning, going on coffee dates, and spending time in the gym.

Connie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert, her son Scott (Christina) Nelson, her daughter, Kelly (Jeff) Sexton, four grandchildren, Kyle Nelson, Kimberley Nelson, Alleigh Sexton, and Brett (Angelica) Sexton, two great grandchildren, Everly and Liam, with one more, Baby Elliott, on the way, and her brother Mike (Nancy) Antonides.

Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Per Connie’s wishes, no services are planned.
