Clista Mae Jackson, 91, of Oscoda, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at her home.

Born April 12, 1933 to George and Etta (Curler) Baker in Oscoda, she was a lifelong resident of the area. In 1966, she married Clayton Jackson. They owned and operated The Pit Stop 10 Minute Oil Change in Oscoda. Clista was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado. She was the Oscoda Chapter Lead of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and volunteered with AYSO concessions. 

Clista is survived by six children, Dianne (Randy) Hughes, Laurie Wilson, Scott Wilson, Susan Moore, Mark (Susan) Jackson, and C.J. (Tina) Jackson, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sisters, June Hazen and Judy Raymond, and her brother, Valgene Duncan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton, on September 16, 2003.

Burial was in Mikado Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 1:30 PM until 4:30 PM at From Huron Out, 5606 F-41, Oscoda MI 48750.
