Claudia L. Fettes

Claudia L. Fettes, 72, of Alpena, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 at her home.   Born November 19, 1946 to Claude and Norma (Brown) Truesdell in Plymouth, MI, she was raised in Canton. She enjoyed a career in shipping receiving at a sporting goods warehouse. Claudia moved to Lincoln in 1966. She enjoyed many crafts, including making dolls, clothes, and Christmas decorations. She also enjoyed scrapbooking.   Claudia is survived by four children, Kevin (Shelly) Fettes of Alpena, Dawn (Jim) Urban of Delaware, Tonja (Jay) Greve of Mikado, and Michael Fettes of Alpena, fourteen grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, her brother, Ron Truesdell, many nieces and nephews and her beloved canine companion Maggie. She was preceded in death by her infant son LaVern Fettes, her great granddaughter Lauryn Harvey, two sisters, Donna Conklin and Joyce Beaver, two brothers, Doug and Roger Truesdell, and her former husband, LaVern Fettes.   Ms. Fettes is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 3:00 until 8:00. Funeral services will be Friday, August 9, 2019 at 1:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Joy Cemetery, Haynes Township.
