Cheryl M. Nester

Cheryl M. Nester, 58, of Spruce, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at MyMichigan Medical Center, Alpena. Cheryl was born May 20, 1964 to Charles and Joyce (Kabel) Moore in Wayne, Michigan. On October 16, 1999, she married Douglas P. Nester in Farmington Hills. They moved to Spruce in 2019. Cheryl enjoyed the outdoors, especially kayaking. She loved her job as a Licensed Veterinarian Technician at Alcona Animal Clinic in Lincoln. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Doug, three sons, Michael, Jordan, and Bradley, her father, Charles (Rose) Moore, her brother, David (Connie) Moore her special feline companions, Ginger and Skipper, and her beloved canine buddies, Gidget and Mason. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Moore and her brother, Michael Moore. Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
