Carl "Fid" Kutzli

Carl “Fid” Kutzli, 90, of Greenbush, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 4, 2026 at his home.

He was born January 14, 1936 to Lawrence and Aurelia (Vladu) Kutzli in Monroe, Michigan. Fid served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1953-1955, during the Korean War. He was a proud graduate of the Harvard Business Executive Program. Fid owned and operated Agnew Machine Tool, Sheffer-Collett, and Michigan Gear. During the Agnew years he sponsored snowmobile racing and auto racing. He loved fast cars He continued working as an engineer, project manager, and salesman, until he had to retire for health reasons. He loved working, and was always looking for the next opportunity to use his skills. On September 23, 2006, he married Theresa Kehoe in Lincoln. They moved to Greenbush in 2012. Fid was a proud member of the Lincoln Lions, and served in various offices with them, always participating in the car show, golf outing, the fishing tournament, and raising funds for the scholarship fund. He was a lifelong member of the Masons, although no longer active with the organization.

Carl is survived by his wife, Theresa, his daughter, Cally Thompson, his grandson, Shawn (Margaret) Thompson, four great grandchildren, Emily and Lily Fisher and Shawn Jr., and Elizabeth Thompson, three brothers-in-law, Tim (Terri Walters) Kehoe, Kevin (Bridgette Butler) Kehoe, and Chris Kehoe, his sister-in-law, Colleen (Gilbert Doway) Burrum, as well as many other friends and family.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln. Burial will be in Springport Cemetery, Harrisville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Lincoln Lions Club, P.O. Box 465, Lincoln MI 48742.
