Buddy Pruitt, 84, of Barton City, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Lincoln Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.   Born November 14, 1935 to James N. and Dema N. (Rogers) Pruitt in Oklahoma, he was raised there. On December 12, 1951, he married Almyra Edwards in California, and they were residents of Missouri, before settling in Michigan. Buddy worked in landscaping and was an avid fur trader. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, working in his garden and especially enjoyed mushroom picking. Buddy liked woodworking and adding to his arrowhead collection.   Buddy is survived by his wife, Almyra, three daughters, Henrietta (Wayne) Fortney, Vickie (Robert) Phipps, and Sherri Apsey, eleven grandchildren, Angela Ross, Tonya Boettge, Cassie Blascyk, Amber Foote, Christy Havens, Brandi Parden, Jodi Neuman, Jamie Blain, Laura Aube, Alisha Apsey, and N.J. Apsey, 19 great grandchildren, his son-in-law Matthew Robinson, and his brother, Herbert (Lynn) Pruitt. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marsha Robinson, one sister, and four brothers.   Mr. Pruitt is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
