Aubra Jean Rodenborg

Aubra Jean Rodenborg, 71, of Mikado, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at home. Born February 24, 1952, to Elmer and Beatrice (Nolan) Gauthier in Frankfort, MI, she was raised in Cedar, MI. She married Merle Rodenborg in 1971 in Grasston, MN, and they have been longtime residents of Mikado. Jean was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed working in her flower beds. She later worked in home health care. Jean loved fishing and photography, taking pictures of flowers, animals, and birds. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado. Jean is survived by her husband Merle, her daughter, Amanda Hodder, her granddaughter, Amaya Rodenborg, her sister Alysia (Bill) Taunton, and two brothers, John (Joanna), and Lloyd (Ima) Gauthier. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Adeline Gauthier, and Carol Powell, two brothers, Paul and Harvey Gauthier, and her son-in-law, Chad Hodder. There will be a memorial service Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Mikado Civic Center. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
