Arthur D. Good, 83, of Lincoln, died Thursday, December 3, 2025 at his home.

Born September 23, 1942, to Russell and Eva (Procunier) Good in Alcona County, he was a lifelong resident.

He married Evelyn Stewart on August 1, 1964. They have two sons, Andrew and Matthew. Arthur retired from Alcona Community Schools in 1999, where he had worked for 31 years as a bus mechanic. He then substitute bus drove for six years. For nineteen years he has been a part of the Maple Syrup project of the FFA at Alcona Schools. He loved his time working with the students.

Arthur liked hunting, but the best part of it was doing it with his brothers, nephews, sons, and grandsons. He loved his family deeply and showed it in every way. They always knew they could call on him for help or just to spend time with them. He was a people person and was loved by everyone.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, two sons, Andrew Good, and Matthew (Lisa) Good, four grandsons, Arthur J., Tyler, Ethan and Kyle Good, one granddaughter, Autumn Good, and seven great grandchildren, his sister-in-law Arlene Good, and his brother-in-law, Robert Hickey. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Loren, Norman, Gilbert, and Merle Good, and his sister, RoxieAnn Hickey.

Arthur is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where visitation will be Friday, December 12, 2025 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Rev. Char McGuire will officiate. Memorial donations are suggested to the Alcona FFA.
