Aaron W. Reames

Aaron W. Reames, Sr., 62, of Mikado, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Tawas City.

Born December 23, 1963, to Leslie Reames and Helen (Manley) in Wyandotte, MI, he was raised in Fenton. On March 22, 2012, he married Marcia Louise in Harrisville. A longtime resident of Mikado, Aaron loved the outdoors and spending time in nature, especially kayaking, hunting, hiking, hunting and fishing. He was happiest around the campfire, sharing stories with family and friends. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, making things, and working in his garden.

Aaron is survived by his wife, Marcia, three children, Sarah McCutcheon, Nathan Reames, and Aaron Reames Jr., five stepchildren, Crystal, John, Bill, and Michael Hoogerhyde, and Tiffiny Duchene, eleven grandchildren, and five siblings, Karen, Daryl, Keith, and Rodney Reames, Marilyn Amano and Shelly Coad. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Leslie Patrick Reames, Phillip Reames, and Marvin Reames.

Per his wishes, no services are planned. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
