Christabelle Dickey

Christabelle Dickey, 85, of Harrisville died Sunday, November 19, 2006 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Born on December 18, 1920 to James and Mary (Kennedy) Lilley in Harrisville, she was raised there. Christabelle served in World War II as an Army nurse. On July 3, 1947, she married Johnson Dickey in Toledo. They resided in Detroit, where Christabelle worked at the Henry Ford Hospital. They moved to Harrisville in 1987. She is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 184, Lincoln Chapter, The American Legion Mikado Post #254, and of the Airstream W.B.C.C.I. of metro Detroit. Survivors include Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Sisters in law. She was preceded in death by her husband on November 6, 1998, and by three brothers, Kenneth, James, and Samuel Lilley. Friends may call from 10 A.M. Tuesday until the funeral at 2 P.M. at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, Rev. Travis DeWitt will officiate. Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln.
