Susanne MacAskill

Susanne L. MacAskill, 72, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at her home in Holland, Michigan. Born July 20, 1934 to Hubert and Florence (Green) Ferguson in Harrisville she was raised there and graduated from Harrisville High School. On December 4, 1954 Susanne married Ernest MacAskill. They resided in Dearborn moving to Menominee in 1969, then to Kingman Arizona in 2000. She recently moved to Holland. Survivors include her husband Ernest, one daughter; Beth Spooner of Holland, one son; Brian MacAskill of Flushing, two grandchildren, her mother; Florence Lyons of Washington State, one sister; Diane McMaster of Romney IN, and two brothers; Kenneth Ferguson of Traverse City, and Bob Ferguson of Alpena. The funeral service was held at Gillies Funeral Home, in Lincoln on Saturday, September 2, 2006, Rev. Marlin VanderWilt officiating. Burial was in Springport Cemetery, Harrisville.
