Gregory N. Pierce

Gregory Newton Pierce, 67, of Harrisville, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at his home. Born December 23, 1950 to Willis and Marian (Kranz) Pierce in Detroit, MI, he was raised in Lincoln Park. Greg served as a medic in the U.S. Army. After his discharge, he moved to Harrisville, where he worked in machine repair, and was able to fix almost anything. Greg loved animals, and had rescued several cats. He is survived by his mother, Marian Jones of Harrisville, his brother, Carl (Yvonne) Pierce of Mikado, his nephew, Scott Pierce of Pensacola FL, and his great niece Claire Pierce. He was preceded in death by his father in 1967. Burial will be in Springport Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
